Ribfest 2012

It’s that time of year again….RIBFEST!! It is my training ground for CNE eating.

Over the years I’ve gained a bit of loyalty to one particular BBQ maker – Uncle Sam’s BBQ.

I always eat their pulled pork sandwiches but this time I went for the brisket sandwich.

The meat was flavourful, the BBQ sauce tangy and sweet just how I like it, but I think the pulled pork still rules.

I’m sure every carnival or festival brings with it pressure to create new and interesting things to eat. I think this place lived up to the challenge…

I love any and all deep fried desserts!!

I was very excited to see a mini farmers market at Ribfest and very happy when I saw they had Ontario cherries!!
