Oatmeal Raisin Cookies…Squares?

Oatmeal raisin cookies on the brain. One bowl recipes rock!

Start with the dry – flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, oats.

Make a well and add the wet stuff – egg, vanilla, water, oil.

Mix it together and add some raisins.

Now, I started off dividing the batter into cookie rounds and then I changed my mind and decided to make oatmeal cookie squares instead. So into a square baking pan went the batter.

Into the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes or just until the batter starts to turn golden.

Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.

Chewy with a hint of sugar and cinnamon coming through. They are delightful eaten slightly warm. =)
