It was a friend’s birthday this weekend. I’ve known this friend for years and years, since we were 4 years old. Of course, it was imperative I bake up a sweet cupcake treat for this occasion.
Chocolate is always a winner. And for some reason I was all about the contrast between a robin egg blue and a dark brown, thus the cupcakes were iced with some blue hued buttercream icing. A chocolate covered macadamia nut topped them off.
