Cream Puffs

Had some leftover profiteroles and cream from yesterday’s class. I thought I would finish making cream puffs. I decided to dip them in some chocolate.

Profiteroles. Holes punched into bottoms, waiting to be filled with vanilla pastry cream.


Pastry cream.


Piping bag. Star tip.


Filled. Waiting to be chocolate dipped.


Done. Ready to be eaten.

  1. now you have me craving cream puffs! We had giant versions of these in Japan. Filled with pastry cream and dusted with icing sugar. A Hokkaido region specialty. The round ones are made of choux puff pastry and square ones out of puff pastry. So light, airy and delicious.
